Written, directed, and performed by Yolanda Mercy, Failure Project is a deeply personal and comedic exploration of a writer named Ade, whose career takes off just as her personal life begins to unravel. As she navigates the challenges of a high-flying career alongside complex relationships and personal doubts, Ade’s journey unfolds through a blend of humor, raw vulnerability, and self-reflection.

The play has already received critical acclaim for its honest portrayal of failure, touching on themes of resilience, identity, and the impact of setbacks. Failure Project received several prestigious awards, including the BESTIE award and the Meadows Award at the Edinburgh Festival 2024, alongside a nomination for an Offie Award in 2025.
