The Bodyguard Musical Announces Tour Casting

The Bodyguard musical has announced its cast for the upcoming UK and international tour. Directed by Thea Sharrock, the production is based on the hit 1992 Warner Bros movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. The musical features a book by Oscar winner Alex Dinelaris and showcases Whitney Houston's iconic songs, including "Queen of the Night," "Run to You," and "I Will Always Love You", alongside other hits like "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and "I Have Nothing."

Plot Overview

The musical tells the thrilling story of Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, who is hired to protect pop superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. The production has played to over four million people across 15 countries, making it one of the most successful stage adaptations of a film.

Touring Cast

The new tour will feature Sidonie Smith in the role of Rachel Marron, alongside Adam Garcia as Frank Farmer. The cast also includes Sasha Monique as Nicki Marron and Matt Milburn as Sy Spector. At select performances, Mireia Mambo will play the role of Rachel Marron.
