Rosalie Craig Joins Sean Hayes in Good Night, Oscar at the Barbican Theatre

In exciting theatre news, acclaimed actress Rosalie Craig will join Emmy and Tony Award winner Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) in the West End production of Good Night, Oscar at the Barbican Theatre this summer.

Sean Hayes' West End Debut in Good Night, Oscar

Good Night, Oscar, marking Hayes’ West End debut, will see him portray the iconic Hollywood actor and concert pianist, Oscar Levant. Hayes previously earned a Tony Award for this role during its 2023 Broadway run, bringing Levant’s character to life with critical acclaim.

The production, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright and directed by Lisa Peterson, is set in 1958. It focuses on a notorious late-night talk show appearance that shaped the public’s perception of Levant. Hayes is joined by Ben Rappaport, who reprises his role as the legendary talk show host Jack Paar.

Rosalie Craig Takes on June Levant

Rosalie Craig, known for her exceptional stage talent, takes on the role of June Levant, Oscar's wife. Craig expressed her excitement about returning to the West End, stating, “I’m absolutely delighted to be returning to the West End to join the company of Good Night, Oscar as June Levant. It’s a deeply compelling, razor-sharp piece of theatre, and stepping into this world alongside such a remarkable cast is a real privilege.”

  • Eric Sirakian as Max Weinbaum

Max Roll returns as an understudy for both Oscar Levant and Bob Sarnoff, having performed alongside Hayes and Rappaport in the Broadway production.
